Exquisite brown satin and beaded evening bag made in France that is perfect for any party or formal affair. The purse is beautifully made and is in excellent condition. This handbag still has the original tissue paper inside so I doubt that it was ever used. The golden brown bugle and seed beads simply glow agains the brown satin. The only wear that shows is on the clasp. The bag measures 8 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. There is a beaded satin handle that is 13 inches long and 5/8 inches wide and shows no wear at all. The inside is lined in brown satin and the inside side pocket is trimmed with a line of the golden brown beads. The tag simply says Made In France. This bag will set off any outfit perfectly and make you the belle of the ball.
This is a wonderful set for anyone's dressing table. The handle and back of the brush and mirror are made of plastic. It is not bakelite but I can't say for sure that it is celluloid. The set dates from the 1920's and probably graced a flapper's vanity dresser. The molded pink or peach color plastic backs are elaborately decorated and the black handles are carved and outline in white. The brush bandle does show some wear because the white is nearly gone. The brushes bristles are natural not plastic. The brush measures 8 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide at the widest part of the oval brush head. The matching hand mirror measures 11 inches long and and almost 4 1/2 inches wide at the widest part of the oval mirror. The beveled mirror is 5 1/8 inches long by 4 inches wide. Both pieces are very clean and are in excellent condition. This is really a lovely set to grace any dressing table.
Very fun, very cute wooden compact with a painted cowboy on the cover. The cowboy is dressed in a red shirt, white chaps and hat and is wearing yellow gloves and neckerchief. He's busy swinging his lasso. The wood cover is a deeper brown than the compact itself. Inside the mirror is in good shape. The compact has been used and the powder puff still has powder on it. There is a crack in the wood along the edge but doesn't interfere with the cover or clasp. The compact measures 2 3/4 inches across. The wood is very smooth and has a great feel to it.
One of the most sought after compacts is this little Djer Kiss Fairy Compact put out in the 1920's. This little compact show 2 fairies kissing on the cover along with flowers and design. The girl fairy is wearing a short floral skirt and her hair looks like the flapper "bob." Inside there are 2 compartments--one for rouge which still has the rouge and the puff and the second for powder. Two mirrors are inside--one faces the powder and one faces the rouge. The back of the compact also has alot of design. There is a slight dent that I can't account for. It must have been done long ago. The compact measures 2 inches wide by 2 inches long and is 1/2 inch deep.
Beautiful Sterling Silver compact marked Argenta Sterling Mexico with the eagle #4 mark. There could be other initials but I can't make them out. The top is engraved and beautifully done. The compact is in excellent condition. It measures 3 1/4 inch across. The back is so shiney it could be used as a mirror itself. The compact was never used and the powder puff is clean. This would make a nice addition to any collection.
Beautiful and delicate vintage flapper era filigree hinged bracelet. The workmanship is outstanding. The front of the bracelet is set with 3 green stones. A Row of tiny rhinestones on the top and bottom set off the greeen. The bracelet measures 1/2 inch wide. The bracelet closed measures 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inch. Even the top and bottom of the bracelet has designs. The original safety chain is attached and the clasp is good. There is no marking on the bracelet and the stones are probably glass. This is an incredibly beautiful bracelet and it has survived intact and well cared for for more than 80 years. It could now become part of your collection.

The center section is a 4 page insert printed in red extolling the virtues of Royal Baking Powder over any others. The front and back covers are in full color and have great illustrations. There is a bit of damage to the index page. The top left corner has ripped away so the first 5 lines are gone. The book measures 8 inches by 5 1/8 inch wide. A nice addition to any collection.
This 1922 Jello Cookbook was illustrated by Norman Rockwell and has some great illustrations. The colors are good and the pictures are clear. Sooooooooo cute. This 3piece Royal Doulton Bunnykins fine china children's set would delight any child or the child within any adult. The plate measures 8 inches wide. This picture has the bunnys mailing letters and the postman picking them up. Above you can see the airmail courtesy of a bird. Around the edge of the plate hop little brown cottontail rabbits. The Royal Doulton mark on the back is in gold. The plate has no chips, cracks or scratches. I doubt that it was ever used. The bowl measures 6 inches across and stands 1 3/4 inches high. The picture is of the bunnykins family getting ready for gardening. Again the bowl is mint with no chips, cracks or scratches. The cup is the sweetest piece. The cup or mug stands 2 1/2 inches high and is 2 1/2 inches wide at the top and 3 inches wide at the bottom. The handle is curved. The picture has the bunnykins sledding in the winter on one side and a snowman and snowball fight on the other. Both the bowl and the cup have the cottontails running around the rim. All three pieces are mint and are still packed in the original box. The Royal Doulton Bunnykins will never go out of style.

These are very delicate and lacy looking earrings. Made out of copper, they date from the 1950's and are screw-back on the ear earrings. They have no mark on the back but they are very well made earrings. These earrings would go great with a summer dress or crocheted top.
Copper leaf earrings with pine green enamelling behind the copper. A very pretty set that Renoir was known for. The earrings are clip ons and are in very good shape. They measure 1 1/8 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. Both earrings are marked with Renoir and Matisse on the clips.
Here is an item I have never seen before. This is a copper and sterling silver pendant on a copper chain. The copper pendant measures 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches long. The sterling decoration on the front of the pendant measures 3/8 inch wide and runs vertically on the pendant. The pendant hangs from a 26 inch chain. There is no clasp; it simply slips over your head. The only marking is on the back of the pendant and it reads: sterling silver, genuine copper. This is the first single pendant necklace I've ever come across. It would make a great addition to any collection.
